I worked in a cubicle for 18 years. It broke me. In 2012 I bought my son two large canvas’ and a rainbow of acrylic paints. We made two abstracts together. I could not stop afterwards. I painted every night. Then the day came when the risk of failing as an artist became less than the risk of extinguishing in the cube. I quit my job and I’ve been a full time artist ever since.
A couple months after my son and I made the two abstracts I asked him if I could add a planet to them. The planet was elated that it had a chance to exist freely.
I named it Planet Giggles. I am Planet Giggles. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
